TypeCoach has been used by more than 600 global organizations and the leadership team have personally delivered live training sessions to more than 30,000 participants.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The law requires us to determine under which of six defined bases we process different categories of your personal information, and to notify you of the basis for each category.
If a basis on which we process your personal information is no longer relevant then we shall immediately stop processing your data.
If the basis changes then if required by law we shall notify you of the change and of any new basis under which we have determined that we can continue to process your information.
1. Information we process because we have a contractual obligation with you
When you create an account on our website, buy a product or service from us, or otherwise agree to our terms and conditions, a contract is formed between you and us. In order to carry out our obligations under that contract we must process the information you give us. Some of this information may be personal information. We may use it in order to:
We process this information on the basis there is a contract between us, or that you have requested we use the information before we enter into a legal contract. Additionally, we may aggregate this information in a general way and use it to provide class information, for example to monitor our performance with respect to a particular service we provide. When you create an account on our site we collect your name and e-mail. When you complete our initial Verifier program, we additionally record yours results in our system so that we can email you your report, send you occasional updates, and for certain of our organizational clients, display your Verifier results to other members of your team or organization in our Type-to-Type tool. If you are an individual user who has purchased an account with us, we will hold your information in our system until you direct us to remove it. To do so, please contact email@example.com and we will remove your information from our system. If you are an employee within an organization who has purchased TypeCoach account for you, your information will remain in our system until your employer tells us to disable your account or until you notify us of your desire for this information to be removed. To do so, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will remove your information from our system.
You can login to your TypeCoach account at any time to view your data included in your profile, get a copy, turn off the sharing function in the Type-to-Type tool and update your information. If you need assistance with your profile, would like to delete your account, or have any questions please send an email to email@example.com.

2. Information we process with your consent
Through certain actions when otherwise there is no contractual relationship between us, such as when you browse our website or ask us to provide you more information about our business, including job opportunities and our products and services, you provide your consent to us to process information that may be personal information.
Sometimes you might give your consent implicitly, such as when you send us a message by e-mail to which you would reasonably expect us to reply.
Except where you have consented to our use of your information for a specific purpose, we do not use your information in any way that would identify you personally. We may aggregate it in a general way and use it to provide class information, for example to monitor the performance of a particular page on our website.
If you have given us explicit permission to do so, we may from time to time pass your name and contact information to selected associates whom we consider may provide services or products you would find useful.

4. Information we process because we have a legal obligation
We are subject to the law like everyone else. Sometimes, we must process your information in order to comply with a statutory obligation. For example, we may be required to give information to legal authorities if they so request or if they have the proper authorisation such as a search warrant or court order. This may include your personal information.
5. Information provided on the understanding that it will be shared with a third party
Our website allows users from within the same organization the opportunity to view fellow employees’ Verifier results in order to gain access to communication advice. This function can be disabled by the user on their own account or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We expect that you will not distribute the information seen on the Type-to-Type tool, if applicable.
TypeCoach provides administrative access to internal human resources staff who are able to see Verifier results for those employed by the same organization. This means that your name, email and Verifier results may be shared with those in the HR function. In addition, in some cases, we provide administrative access to third-party coaches and consultants who have been retained by our client organizations to conduct training or coaching programs.
In sharing personal information, it is up to you to satisfy yourself about the privacy level of every person who might use it. We do not specifically use this information except to allow it to be displayed or shared. We do store it, and we reserve a right to use it in the ways outlined above.

6. Complaints regarding content on our website
If you complain about any of the content on our website, we shall investigate your complaint. If we feel it is justified or if we believe the law requires us to do so, we shall remove the content while we investigate.
Free speech is a fundamental right, so we have to make a judgment as to whose right will be obstructed: yours, or that of the person who posted the content that offends you. If we think your complaint is vexatious or without any basis, we shall not correspond with you about it.
7. Information relating to your method of payment
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We do not collect or require any media images or associated information from our visitors and members.
